Donna Washington
Donna Washington is a storyteller, actress, and author who appears at schools, libraries, and conferences nationwide. She has written and performed four one-woman shows about historical black heroines and adapted folk tales for the stage. She narrates picture books for Children's Press and videotapes for Warren Coleman Communications. Among her books are A Pride of African Tales, illustrated by James Ransome and L'il Rabbit's Kwanzaa, illustrated by Shane Evans.
